כותר The centrality of NGOs in promoting anti-Israel boycotts and sanctions.
מתוך Jewish Political Studies Review 21,1-2 (2009) 7-31
תקציר/הערה NGOs have been using human rights rhetoric to demonize and delegitimate Israel, particularly pushing anti-Israel agendas in the UN with a "Durban strategy" that began with the 2001 UN Durban conference. Boycotts, divestment moves, and sanctions are part of the strategy, buttressed by NGO reports and lobbying that have influence in the UN, the media, and academia. This political war against Israel also takes place in the media, churches, and on university campuses. Gives examples of anti-Israel NGO propaganda. Criticizes funding for such NGO activity from Europe and from private organizations.
