Born in Warsaw, 1917. Studies at Polish gymnasium. Degree in political science from Warsaw University, 1939. Many years poet and journalist in Poland (Jewish and non-Jewish newspapers). Zionist activist since youth, and member of Akiva, El Al and Betar. Once head of Betar in Poland. Work in Polish Radio. Smuggling Jews out of Rumania. Surviving the Holocaust and escaping from Poland, 1945. Immigration to Israel through Italy, 1947. Thirty years of work in Keren Kayemet LeIsrael. Manager of Information Department and board member of Keren Kayemet LeIsrael. Editing "Karneinu" journal. Contacts with foreign journalists. Initiator of "Ta Bmo Yadecha" (plant a tree yourself) enterprise. Establishing contacts with tourists through tours in Israel. Initiator of different books, brochures and maps.
