Guarene is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located in the area of Roero about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Cuneo. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy"). It is part of the Roero historical region. Main sights include the castle (rebuilt in the 18th century), with Italian-style gardens, and the 17th century Palazzo Re Rebaudengo, now the seat of exhibitions.
