- חַמְרָה היא התנחלות ומושב השייך לארגון מושבי האיחוד החקלאי ולמועצה אזורית בקעת הירדן. היישוב ממוקם במורדות השומרון, בערוץ נחל תרצה, בחלקה הצפוני של בקעת הירדן. היישוב נקרא "חמרה" בגלל תל חמרה הסמוך או בגלל גידול גפנים ליין [חמרא בארמית]. בראשיתו כונה גם "עטרות" ו"עטרה" ( (ויקיפדיה, נצפה 21 יולי 2022) )

This page is subject to the extended confirmed restriction related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Hamra (Hebrew: חמרה, lit. 'Red Soil') is an Israeli settlement organized as a moshav in the West Bank. Located in the Jordan Valley and covering 3,500 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bik'at HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 224. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.
