- פוריה עלית הוא יישוב קהילתי באזור הצפון ליד העיר טבריה, השייך למועצה אזורית עמק הירדן. היישוב הוקם לראשונה ב-1912. עם תחילת מלחמת העולם הראשונה, ב - 1914 הופסקה ההתיישבות במקום והישוב ננטש. היישוב הוקם מחדש ב-1955 ופוריה עילית הייתה ליישוב מבחינה רשמית בעת היפרדותה מפוריה - נווה עובד בשנת 1991 ( (ויקיפדיה, נצפה 30 אפריל 2018) )

Poria Illit (Hebrew: פּוֹרִיָּה עִלִּית, lit. "Upper Poria") is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located near the southwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of Emek HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 1,264.
