Nagako (6 March 1903 – 16 June 2000), posthumously honoured as Empress Kōjun, was Empress of Japan from 25 December 1926 until 7 January 1989 as the wife of Hirohito, Emperor Shōwa. She is the longest-serving empress consort in Japanese history.
