In album format, presents art works of Romanian Jewish artists and three essays by the authors. Several of the works depict the Holocaust (e.g. by Marcel Janco and Aurel Mărculescu). The essays deal with Romania's role in the Holocaust and the impact of the Holocaust on the fate of the artists. The rest of the book presents biographies and works by 22 Jewish artists.
