Scope and content The second wave of children from Chernobyl arrived in Israel today on an Aeroflot flight from Moscow. This group of 51 children are here to receive treatment at Petach Tikvah's Beilinson Hospital for the effects of being exposed to radiation, The children have various problems with their blood and eyesight. The Beilinson Hospital, is one of Israel's best equipped hospitals. The Beilinson is the largest of the Histradut sick fund hospitals. It was at the beginning of last October that Histradut General Secretary, Israel Keisar, offered to treat some of the affected children in Israel. The invitat¬ion was extended to the Russian journalist, Vladimir Sinelnikov, during his visit here at that time. The cost of treatment is being paid for by the Histradut.
