	גרסה בעברית בשחרית טובה, לך, רבונו של עולם! אני לוי יצחק בן שרה מברדיצ'וב, באתי בטענה עליך בעד עמך ישראל: כי מה לך לעם זה מכל העמים, שאינך תובע אלא מבני-ישראל: אם למצווה – "צו את בני-ישראל", אם לתורה – "אמור לבני ישראל" ואם למוסר – "דבר אל בני-ישראל"! ריבון העולם! כמה אומות עוד לך טרפלאי, אפרסיא, ארכויה, בבלאי. אשכנז, מה היא אומרת? "אין מלך אלא מלכי שלי!" ואני לוי-יצחק בן-שרה מברדיצ'וב אומר: "יתגדל ויתקדש שמיה רבה!" ואני לוי-יצחק בן-שדה מברדיצ'וב אומר: "לא אזוז ממקומי, ממקומי לא אזוז, עד שהקץ יבוא וסוף יהיה לכך! כי יתגדל ויתקדש שמה רבה!"

	המלים והלחן מיוחסים לרבי לוי יצחק מברדיצ'ב, שהיה ידוע בכינוי "סנגורם של ישראל".
