	השיר יצא לאור לראשונה בשנת 1945 וזכה לביצועים רבים כשיר וכריקוד עם. זמן כתיבתו לא ידוע אולם ייתכן והוא מוקדם בהרבה שכן מתתיהו שלם כתב שירים אחרים בנושא היין לחג הבציר בקיבוץ רמת יוחנן בשנת 1928.
