שבחי ירושלים / תהלים קמז, יב-יג שַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם אֶת ה' הַלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן כִּי חִזַּק בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ בֵּרַךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּךְ |

אלו הם שני פסוקים מתוך מזמור תהלים קמז, הממוקדים בירושלים והפונים אליה, והם מושרים במגוון נסיבות משמחות, בין היתר ביום ירושלים, כ"ח באייר. השיר פופולרי ביותר וזכה למגוון מבצעים, ביניהם גם הזמרת היוונית חריס אלקסיו. הפסוקים המושרים בנויים בשתי תקבולות: התקבולת שבפסוק הראשון כיאסטית, כלומר סדר אבריה משׂוּכל – הפניה אל העיר מופיעה באמצעה של הצלע הראשונה (ירושלים), ובסופה של הצלע השניה (ציון). בפסוק זה חוזר ה' בשני כינוייו – שכן הוא מושא ההלל. לעומת זאת, בתקבולת שבפסוק השני, המנמקת את הקריאה להלל במעשיו של ה', אין שמו או כינויו מופיע כלל. מתוארים בו מפעליו ביחס לעיר ולבניה. מזמור קמז הוא אחד המזמורים הכלולים בחטיבת מזמורי ההילולים החותמת את ספר תהלים. התפרצות קריאותיו של המשורר להלל את ה' נובעת ממבטיו העוברים בין השתאות נוכח מפעליו בטבע (דאגה לבעלי החיים, שליטה בגרמי השמים ובמשקעים) לבין התייחסותו הפרטיקולרית ליראיו, לירושלים ולעמו. |
