משורר ומבקר ספרות שכתב עברית, יידיש, גרמנית ורוסית. יליד פולין 1893. פעל בוינה, ברלין ופריס. מ- 1926 בברית המועצות. שם עסק בחקר הספרות היידית ומוסדות המדע היהודיים.נהרג בהגנה על מוסקבה ב 1941.
