The file includes two pages (A8-A9) from the Los Angeles times in memory of Yitzhak Rabin on the first anniversary of his death. There is an announcement of a list of memorial events in different LA communities and of a city-wide memorial candlelight service. The announcements were made in cooperation with The Board of Rabbis of Southern California, AIPAC, American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, American Zionist Youth Foundation, Anti-Defamation League, Hebrew Union College, Jewish Community Relations Committee, Jewish War Veterans, National Council of Women, Simon Wiesenthal Center Beith Hashoah-Museum of Tolerance, University of Judaism. (1995);The file also contains a laminated folder-envelope/marketing pack bearing the slogan "For This Alone is Reason Enough". The pack contains leaflets, each of which has details of a project that the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles carries out with the support of the United Jewish Fund. Adverts for many of these projects appeared in the LA Times and in other files in this collection. The first leaflet provides an introduction to The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and the United Jewish Fund. Other leaflets address and provide details of agencies that deal with the issues of "Our Elderly", Anti-Semitism and Terror, Mental and Physical Health, Human Services/Basic Human Needs, Jewish Education and Continuity, "Our Children, Youth and Young Adults", Spirtuality and the Jewish Soul, Partnership with Israel, Repairing the World, Repairing LA and Overseas Rescue and Relief. (ca. 1995);Also in the file two posters with slogans and keywords relating to the ways that the Jewish Federation has given aid and three appeals for aid to save innocent Jews, Muslims and Croats in Bosnia.
