Woolfe, then a member of the Ccity Council obtained from the City of Richmond the grant of one acre of ground, to be usesd for burial purposes by the "Congregation of Beth Shalome," and, by a strange coincidence, his were the first remains interred in this cemetery. The original area has been added to since that time. The mortuary chapel shown in this view was erected in 1894.Published by Southern Bargain House, Richmond, Va.
