שיר כתוב ביד, מאת שמואל בן עזריאל בן ציון טרבס, לרגל הנוכת בית מדרש בוורצ'לי. פותח: הן יקראו אישים גבור בארץ. Handwritten poem composed by Samuel b. Azriel Ben-Zion Treves, in honor of the dedication of a new beit midrash (house of Torah study) in Vercelli on Monday, 2 Elul 5589 (August 31, 1829). The poem pays homage to the deceased benefactor, Elijah Menahem Foa (d. July 20, 1796), as well as to numerous other individuals from the community whose support is recognized. There is also an acknowledgement of the King of Piedmont, Carlo Felice. Known as the Collegis Foa (Foa College), the house of study was opened in September 1829 in the same house where Foa had lived.
