Whether you’re looking for family-friendly activities, cultural enrichment, or simply quality time together - the Library offers all of this in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Join a guided children’s tour at the National Library of Israel!
Come discover the Library’s secrets and get to know this remarkable place up close. Together we’ll wander the halls, solve puzzles, explore big ideas, admire the building’s unique architecture, enjoy stunning works of art, and uncover a magical world of books and stories.
Each child receives a special personal activity kit - “A Library Experience” - to help them explore the Library through their own eyes.

The tour is suitable for children who can read (ages 5-11).
Tickets are required for all participants over age 3. Adults also require a ticket.
Join us for a guided tour of the Library’s stunning new building. Explore its unique architecture, Reading Halls, Automated Stacks, and inspiring works of art. Visit the permanent exhibition “A Treasury of Words” to see rare manuscripts, including Maimonides’ handwritten commentary, a medieval Bible, an illustrated Haggadah, and sacred texts from various faiths. The tour also includes our current rotating exhibitions: “Hadassa Goldvicht: To the Internal Libraries” and “Flowers: Leafing Through the Collections of the National Library”.

The independent entry ticket includes admission to our video display and the permanent "A Treasury of Words" exhibition. The ticket also includes access to the rotating exhibitions: "Hadassa Goldvicht: To the Internal Libraries" and "Flowers: Leafing Through the Collections of the National Library".
