Decorated manuscript with musical notation. It is a processional that includes the chants (antiphons and responsories) performed before the Mass. The MS also includes the chants for the Mandatum, including references to Mary Magdalene. None of the founders of any religious orders are mentioned, so it likely hails from a secular church. The last feast is the Assumption. The feast of St. Bernard on August 20 is not mentioned. Moreover, in regards the lessons for two responsories: 'Viri Galilaei' and 'Non Conturbetur': They do not follow exactly those of two Cistercian manuscripts that are identical, which have 'Non Turbetur' instead of the Roman version 'Non Conturbetur'. St. Francis of Assisi (October 4) is also not mentioned. Neither is St. Dominic. There is only one rubric for a feast: 'CENA DOMINI' (The Lord’s Supper). A few small unnoted verses make allusions to unspecified feasts. The Notation is Gothic "on nails", on 4 red lines. This notation is also found in Germany (Pal. Mus. II and III, plates 139, 141, 142) in Trier (plate 144), and Echternach (Falmagne 'Die Echternacher Handschriften' 2009, vol. 1, Abb. 92, 133). It is distinguished by small straight or wavy strokes punctuating the punctum, the top of the virga, the base of the pes (curled into a loop when it is liquescent), and other composed neumes. These marks are more or less emphasized throughout the manuscript, likely depending on the different scribes. The punctum is never used alone but always in combination. German quilisma, tris-distropha, oriscus. Liquescences. One principal notation stands out throughout the manuscript. Another appears at the end. Hand B is less untidy and reveals more clearly a pes with the first element as a hook attached to the middle of the ascending element (although it appears sporadically elsewhere in the manuscript). F, C, G clefs flat (often added). Contents of the manuscript: Purification (1a-4r), Palm Sunday (4v-12v), Maundy Thursday ('CENA DOMINI') (13r), John the Baptist, June 24 (15r), St. Peter, June 29 (16r-17r), Mandatum (17v-22v), Ascension (23r-24v), Assumption (25r-28r), Maundy Thursday (28v-29v), Mary Magdalene, Mandatum?
