Incipit: Cum totius scientiae generalitas tres principales partes habeat ... The National Library of Israel Jerusalem Israel Ms. Fr. 273 Thick yellow parchment. Edges were red-tinted, but later ms has been trimmed. Margins: 23, 56, 21, 31 mm. Ruled in brown ink (bounding lines: 1, 2, 1 vert., 1 hor.). Text space 189 x 135 mm. 2 col., 54 lines, written in brown ink, set below top line, one hand. Commentaries at the bottom of ff. 1rv, and marginal additions are of 14th c. hands. At the end of f. 48v appears written in a 14th c. hand text on medical herbs and plants. Two foliations are located in the right upper corner, one is original, in roman numerals, in brown ink. It starts on f. 2r as XVII, whcih means that the manuscript was once part of a larger book another one is modern, in grey pencil. Catchword. Collation: I10 wants 10 (stub), II8, III8, IV8, V8, VI8 wants 8 (stub). 7-line first initial C(um), blue with red penwork, several other smaller initials. Numerous 2-5-line alternatively blue and red initials. Red rubrics, blue and red paragraph marks. Binding: 278 x 198 mm. 18th c. yellow parchment over cardboards, with ties. At the spine in brown ink: Constantini Pantegni. |
